Grab the tissues
I loved this, even through the heartache.
Holly is such a strong and determined character and the life that she overcomes is truly inspiring. Graham is the best kind of MMC, a real “golden retriever”, he’s caring, considerate, gentle and giving, he’s there for Holly in any way she needs.
I loved the slow build and the way they were friends first.
With “Then” and “Now” storytelling, the two perspectives gave us the history of the characters and then the present and their reconnection.
This is truly emotional and had me reaching for the tissues, but these two also have great banter and wonderful chemistry. There’s also some angst, twists, some content some might find difficult, lots of sweetness and swoons, and a love that lasts.
Beautifully written and a real page turner. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
