Publisher Description
Never say never. Especially not to a determined bad boy.
Zander Minelli is exactly the wrong kind of man for a cautious single mom. He's dark, dangerous, and knows far too much about sawed-off shotguns. Faith Davidson finds him irresistible. The widowed novelist knows she should dip her toe back in the dating pool with someone solid and dependable. Definitely no tattoos, nobody who has first hand knowledge about the type of dangerous battles she writes about. But every time she looks up, the brooding soldier is watching her, and she can't help but wonder what it would be like to let herself have a taste…
Small town summer nights have never been hotter—and one transplanted city-girl's heart has never been more fragile. But the Zander Effect is real, and this committed bachelor is re-thinking everything now that he's met the woman of his dreams.

A story of possibilities, closure, family and new adventures!
A truly beautiful book. I was hooked on Zander’s and Faith’s story from the beginning. It is a story of possibilities, closure, family and new adventures and when you meet the right person - you hold on to them with both hands!
I loved that Zander and Faith met in a bakery/cafe and stroke up a conversation about Faith’s research on her book and then again by luck at her friend, Ryan’s and Holly’s house for a barbecue. I had a feeling these two were meant for each other but it was going to take time, love and patience to get there.
I also loved that Zander gave Faith space to figure things out and grieve and put closure on her relationship with her late husband, Greg.
Zander is definitely a keeper. I loved how Faith and Eric have embraced him with unconditional love and friendship and changed him for the better and have made him reevaluate his life decisions and future.
Eric, Faith’s son definitely steals Zander’s and Faith’s thunder in their story. He is too cute and adorable! I love that he has been told to ask permission before going on adventures.
I definitely recommend this book! Well done, Zoe - you are a gifted writer and storyteller!

An exciting romance.
When widowed author met a tattooed biker in the diner, where she was using the wifi for research, she thought it was a one off thing even though sparks were there.
When he turns up again at the playground where she was playing with her son and finds out he is part of a local family, but is in the army, she is not sure what to think.
But he is persistent but will long distance and drama from her son make or break their relationship?
