A handsome, mysterious guest arrives at Nell Turner's beautiful - and fully booked - hotel in rural Yorkshire, demanding a room, any room. He must stay in this particular hotel on this particular night and just won't take 'no' for an answer. Nell, seeing he is at the end of his tether, takes him in, despite her reservations.
