Publisher Description
A funny, warm and moving account of his battle with Parkinson’s disease by the internationally beloved star of Spin City, Family Ties and Back to the Future.
'The ten years since my diagnosis have been the best ten years of my life and I consider myself a lucky man' -- Michael J. Fox
When Michael J. Fox announced to the world that he had Parkinson's disease, a degenerative neurological condition, he had been secretly fighting it for almost ten years. By the time the public started grieving for him, he had stopped grieving for himself.
Far from being bitter about being forced into retirement at the height of his career, he considers himself a lucky man. With the same energy, passion and humour he invests in his performances, Fox recounts the incredible story of his life-changing experiences - and what Parkinson's has given him: the chance to appreciate a wonderful life and career, his family, and the opportunity to help find a cure.

Inspiring
A wonderful inspiring book. I couldn't put it down. Michael J Fox, you are a legend!
Lucky man
My first attempt at reading an e book and I couldn't put it down.
It was warm and funny and full of passion and drama and sadness but never hopelessness. Michael Fox welcomed me into his world in such a way that I began to feel as though I knew him. He is a natural story teller.
Brilliant
I have wanted to read this book for quite a while and I am thrilled that it met and exceeded my expectations. It is written brilliantly and included more than I thought it would. As I was born in the late 80s I missed the early years of his career but I had heard his stories and caught some reruns and thought I knew his story. His book proved me wrong. Well written, easy to read and follow, full of love wisdom and laughter. Highly recommend this read. And to Michael, thank you.
