Lugano is in the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino, south of the Alps in Switzerland. 

The city lies on Lake Lugano, and is often referred to as the "Monte Carlo of Switzerland", because of it’s mild mediterranean like climate and cosmopolitan lifestyle

Lugano is the largest Italian-speaking city outside of Italy.

This Photographic Journey around the city is not a travel guide, rather will show a glimpse of it’s character which makes Lugano a favourite of both Swiss visitors from the Northern side of the Alps and tourists from around the world.
