Elaine, a once-famous actress who disappeared thirty years ago in mysterious circumstances, is ready to tell her story. She summons Kate, a young film executive, to her remote Cornish home to assist with her glorious comeback. But to keep control of the story, and how they tell it, the women must fight against a rising tide.
