Mackellar Primary School is in Delahey, in the outer north western suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. This multi-touch, interactive book provides an insight into the intersection between technology, pedagogy and curriculum in a unique setting. Mackellar Primary School is highly diverse and prides itself on its inclusion program which caters for a relatively large percentage of students with special needs. Weekly visits to “The Hive” provides a rich and engaging space for students to explore STEM / STEAM and the Kitchen Garden provides a hands-on experience in food technology. The implementation of a BYO 1:1 iPad program in 2015 has transformed the way students and staff learn and teach.
