Mandarin for the English Speaking Child

This series or pre-reader books is intended for those learning the basics of Chinese reading and sentence structure. The approach is to provide the most basic and simple sentences possible akin to the “See Spot Run” style of books in English. Some books focus on structure such as Noun + Verb or Noun + Noun while others will stress a phonetic sound in Chinese. The books are short given the intended audience of 3-6 year olds but also due to the sound files which increase the file size. Some will also have games. We hope that these resources will help engage your child to learn Mandarin Chinese!
