The district court abused its discretion when, under the facts and circumstances surrounding the parties 1974 stipulation incorporated in the judgment and decree of marital dissolution, it increased a permanent spousal maintenance award and included an automatic cost-of-living increase. The district court did not abuse its discretion with regard to the award of attorney fees in connection with this proceeding.
