Memories: A Story of German Love

Friedrich Max Müller (6 Dec 1823 –28 Oct 1900), was a German philologist and Orientalist. However, most of his life he spent in Britain and devoted a lot of his works to studies of orientalism. He wrote both popular and scholarly works, among most significant of them was the Sacred Book of the East – a collection of translation into English of Indian text, prepared under his guidance.

Memories is an autobiographical work by Max Muller. He literally spilled his life on these pages, from the very first moment he could recall clearly to moment he wrote the last sentence of this volume.
