Publisher Description
Chase's plan was simple: stay human, stay hidden, stay out of trouble.
Then he found a bleeding man in the woods—shredded by something unnatural. Something dark. Predatory. And still hunting.
He figured dropping the guy at the hospital was the end of it. Trouble handled. Forest problems left behind.
Then Harper shows up.
She's got a shotgun in the truck, a wild pig named Riblet at her heels, and absolutely no patience for growly men with secrets.
Worst of all? She's his fated mate.
Chase isn't a hero. But she makes him want to be hers.
Quick Bites—stand alone stories you can devour in a flash. Expect short, steamy shifter romance, edge-of-your-seat action, scorching love scenes, and a happily ever after.

Midnight Wish...
It was an interesting plot concept and I get it was meant to be a Short Story, but... a lot happened with very little context and then the monster came out of nowheresville to cause havoc. The blurb was VERY misleading and had little to do with what ACTUALLY happened in the book.
Also the title takes more than a minute to make sense. If it’s to do with the monster then there should be an At Midnight rule for appearances or SOMETHING.
