Publisher Description
Karigan G'ladheon is a Green Rider - a seasoned member of the royal messenger corps whose loyalty and bravery have already been tested many times. And her final, explosive magical confrontation with Mornhavon the Black should have killed her.
But rather than finding death, and peace, Karigan wakes to a darkness deeper than night. The explosion has transported her somewhere - and into a sealed stone sarcophagus - and now she must escape, somehow, before the thinning air runs out and her mysterious tomb becomes her grave.
Where is she? Does a trap, laid by Mornhavon, lie beyond her prison? And if she can escape, will she find the world beyond the same - or has the magic taken her out of reach of her friends, home and King forever...?

Great read
I enjoyed this book - it was a real page turner. It did go off on a different tangent from the main storyline but I loved it.
Mirror Sight
By author Kristen Britain. I was dearly hoping for more of the first four books in this Green Rider series, but sadly disappointed as the tone has become quite dark and not at all like the previous books. I loved the way the adventure in the early books was so captivating, enjoyable with just enough description of life in those days to keep one entertained. It was all high adventure. I especially liked the fact that it was all done with very little vicious lust and violence that has crept into this last book, Mirror Sight.
I cannot fathom why writers feel the need to follow trends towards such dark violence and torture to attract readers. I skipped so much of the trash and probably missed a great deal of the stuff i enjoy, but did not want to sit thru the horrible, to me, awful hurt and sorrow, as if there is not enough in the world already. Indeed, I believe it is content like this that is polluting our beautiful world and i would encourage readers to speak up about this abuse to clean up our world. I appeal to writers to abolish such unnecessary atrocities in the name of entertainment. Does it not occur to writers the damage it can do to a mind that has little control over images this type of literature can produce. No wonder our streets are no longer safe to walk at night, or even day. Another good writer bites the dust, in my opinion.
Please change up, not down, so we may live and love.
