Misbegotten

Retired Detroit police offi cer Hugo Heiderberg is distraught uponlearning that his daughter Emily was the victim of a rape aftershe was abducted from a festival in downtown Detroit. Hugo isa founding member of a white supremacy group that reaps havoc againstblack citizens in reprisal. Emily is impregnated as a result of the rape andplaces the misbegotten child up for adoption. The child favorably impactsthe lives of three families and grows up to become a prominent man.Sergeant Ulysses Washington, a black bigot, half-heartedly investigates therape because of his animus against the victims father.
