Miss Silver Comes to Stay

When James Lessiter returns to Lenton after many years to claim his family estate, his reappearance opens some old wounds. When he is found bludgeoned to death by a fire poker, the suspects are almost too many to count. From the widow in the guest house, to an angry husband, to a jilted girlfriend, each one has a long-standing grudge against the selfish heir--but only one has the urge to murder.
