Becky Slusher’s life is unraveling. The sale of the gaming company she helped build left her career in ruins. And just as she’s picking up the pieces, a call comes that her beloved grandmother has passed away, summoning her back to the ranch she grew up on for the reading of the will.


Colt Hatcher has had his own share of recent heartbreak. His almost-fiancée left him for his best friend, and the woman who was like a second grandmother to him is gone—which means so too are his dreams of one day buying her ranch and building the life he’s always wanted.


But when the will is read, Colt and Becky are shocked to learn they’ve inherited the ranch together. As teens, they flirted and stole kisses. Now, they must confront their shared past while trying to build very different futures. Can they find a way to work together to honor Doris’s legacy, or will the ghosts of their pasts drive them apart?
