Mollie's Tail is the story of a four-year old Sheltie that was scheduled to be euthanized for no good reason other than her owners didn't want her anymore. Ellen came to meet Mollie at the veterinarian's request and ended up adopting her.
The book chronicles the next ten years telling the story of how Ellen and her family with much patience and understanding worked with Mollie to change her behavior and win over her love. Along the journey they learned that Mollie had been badly abused making her transformation even more rewarding. Mollie was a cherished family member until her death.
