A fun read
She can write the perfect murder mystery…But can she solve one in real life?
Murder at the Bookstore is the first instalment in The Bookstore Mystery series and is a great start to it. The story follows our lead, crime writer Jen Dawson, who finds herself on the suspect list after the mysterious death of her friend and bookstore owner Aletha.
I really enjoyed this fun read that kept me engaged throughout. The mystery surrounding Aletha’s murder and the events that played out after were interesting and kept the pages turning. Jen is a great protagonist who I instantly liked and I look forward getting to know her more in future instalments. All round this is a very enjoyable and entertaining read.
