Murder From the Start

Gordon Long, author and retired professor emeritus weaves for Harry O the unusual with the suspected outgrowth of agony from the death of his young wife and unborn children. His second wife has no knowledge of his life outside the University, either while an engineering student, or as a professor. Harry O's prolific writing and paper presentations seem to just magically appear whenever he has an "assignment" He has a high overhead and his charges for each 'visit' goes up to as much as a half million dollars. The different alias and roles of his fleet of helpers and the electronics make Harry a really invisible ethical provider of services. The entry into the "business" comes from his young wife's father who serves as a mentor and helps Harry develop his skills.
