Ticked all my boxes
Another couple to meet who find fate have given them a chance at Second Chance Harbor and this time it’s Ryan and Hailey’s journey. I love single parent stories so this one was always going to be on my radar and honestly it was everything i have come to expect from Ms Coll and so much more. I was captivated from the first page and there was no putting down until I had read the final line of My Best Chance and for me it’s a great addition to this wonderful series. This series is getting better wth each release and it’s hard to say what couple will steal top rating so I guess Im going to have to wait for the end of the series because with every release I’m thinking this is it, this is the couple until the next couple comes along. Ryan and Hailey’s friends to lovers journey ticked all my boxes, I swooned, I sighed and I smiled at the witty banter that only friends know how to share. Looking forward to what’s to come next from the very talented Lea Coll.
Loved it
Having read and loved the previous books in the Second Chance Harbor series I was eager to read My Best Chance. It was everything I was expecting and so much more. I love single parent stories and this one ticked the boxes for me.
From the first chapter to the last, I was invested in Ryan and Hailey’s story. Ms. Coll’s style of writing flows well and her characters are engaging and easy to relate to. This series is going from strength to strength and every time I finish I think that’s my favourite until the next book comes around.
The chemistry that sizzles between Ryan and Hailey is intense and I enjoyed the witty banter between them as their relationship moved from friends to lovers. Another wonderful addition to one of my favourite series.
