Dillion’s story
This is the start of a new series, but we meet Dillion in the Fractured Connections series and he is such a great character that he needed his own story. Dillion is in college and he was not expecting Elise to enter his life and change everything. This is such a sweet love story but there are lots of big emotions that need to be dealt with. There are lots of great new characters in this book as well as lots that we already love. The story is steamy and emotional and I can't wait for the next book.

This book is a bit different to all the other books I have read by this author.
Dillon and Elise had a one night stand but they keep thinking about one another.
Finally Dillon just starting texting Elise.
I was hoping for a book for Corinne as she sounded like a hoot but not happening :(

Entertaining
I was excited when I heard that Carrie Ann Ryan had a new series starting and I couldn’t wait to dive in the My One Night. I was drawn into the story that Ms. Ryan wove about Dillon Connolly and Elise Hoover.
I am not a huge fan of the new adult genre but I found this book to be well written with characters who are easy to relate too. Meeting at a frat party Dillon and Elise find themselves having a one night stand. However we all know that plans don’t always work out like that and they both struggle to forget one another.The chemistry between them is intense and too hard to resist and when they come back together they know that they may have found “the one”.
When Dillon’s past comes back to haunt him and Elise suffers a devastating loss this part of the book was extremely emotional and had my heart breaking for them. Sometimes it takes a life changing event to make you realize what and who is important.
Their path to happiness will be full of bumps but if they can persevere they will find a lifetime of happiness and love together.
