An invitation to a ball just turned Tony Mandolin's worst hangover into a career-defining nightmare.

Small-time crooks are bursting into flames, and Pat Monahan, Tony's only friend on the force, wants answers. And for some reason, this foreign Viscount who built an actual fairy castle in Redwood City wants Tony to run security for his grand costume ball. What the Royal did not say is that he and his family are all vampires.

One of the guests goes poof in the middle of the ballroom floor, and someone or something else is killing members of the Viscount's family, and then the real troubles begin, nobody can leave the castle.
