“5 stars!!! Smart, funny, sexy and all around wonderful!” -Book Babes Unite Blog
“Such a fun read! A quirky, nerdy, shy girl and a sexy, hot alpha male.” -Goodreads reviewer
There are three things you need to know about Janie Morris: 1) She is incapable of engaging in a conversation without volunteering TMTI (Too Much Trivial Information), especially when she is unnerved, 2) No one unnerves her more than Quinn Sullivan, and 3) She doesn't know how to knit.
After losing her boyfriend, apartment, and job in the same day, Janie Morris can't help wondering what new torment fate has in store.
To her utter mortification, Quinn Sullivan—aka Sir McHotpants—witnesses it all then keeps turning up like a pair of shoes you lust after but can't afford. The last thing she expects is for Quinn to make her an offer she can't refuse.

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
No job. No boyfriend. Nowhere to live. The day isn’t exactly going well for Janie Morris—until an incredibly handsome stranger offers her the opportunity of a lifetime. There’s more than one catch, of course, and it’s a delight to read on as Janie navigates (well, awkwardly fumbles through) a tumultuous, yet exciting time in her life. She’s a flawed heroine: her anxious overthinking, often on display via her blurting out of random facts and details to those around her, makes her character resoundingly human, adding humorous relatability to this romantic comedy. Lighthearted, fun and easy to read, Neanderthal Seeks Human has us excited about the rest of Penny Reid’s Knitting in the City series.

Y. Neanderthal Seeks Human 9/10
Free ebook. Contemporary Romance. Excellent writer. Interesting quirky characters. Janie is super smart but perhaps autistic. She doesn’t believe she is beautiful, like her mother or her older sister. Quinn is a self-made entrepreneur. Quinn has a past where he worked for crooks. Janie’s younger sister Jen is a criminal and a psychopath. Janie doesn’t think Quinn could be attracted to her, but they have sizzling chemistry. This quirky book is much more satisfying than your average romance novel.
Hilarious, could not put it down
Lovely book! Janie is, in equal parts, exasperating and endearing.
