SUNDAY TIMES
One of the most acclaimed novels of the 21st Century, from the Nobel Prize-winning author

Kazuo Ishiguro imagines the lives of a group of students growing up in a darkly skewed version of contemporary England. Narrated by Kathy, now thirty-one, Never Let Me Go dramatises her attempts to come to terms with her childhood at the seemingly idyllic Hailsham School and with the fate that has always awaited her and her closest friends in the wider world. A story of love, friendship and memory, Never Let Me Go is charged throughout with a sense of the fragility of life.
'Exquisite.'
GUARDIAN

Zombie Apocalypse Survivor ,

Intriguing but not riveting

If you like thoughtful, wondering contemplations, you might find this interesting. However, it is quite predictable and therefore the storyline seems to roll along at a gentle pace, rather than charge to a dramatic finish.

Bad description

I hate when books become the sum total of the movie. There is nothing about the actual story in this description. I read books before movies but at least the hard copy descriptions still have a description.

Strange....

A well written book but very odd, I felt like not much was explained - why did these kids not just run away or refuse to donate??
I have also watched the movie, which for once mirrored the book almost exactly so no more answers there either. All in all, I found it disturbing with not much storyline.
