In this terrific international thriller from MWA Grand Master Follett (Eye of the Needle), President Pauline Green, a moderate Republican who's up for reelection, must contend for the nomination with far-right Sen. Slow start but builds well and then kaboom
Two minds
That's how I find myself after reading this book
The story is of the two giant countries facing off and eventually pressing the two red , God forbid , Red Buttons
And entwined through the story the lives and affairs associated with those two Red Buttons
But then with this powerful story going on , there on the sidelines is another story about a drug bust that is going down across Africa , while I was reading I thought maybe the two stories would collide somehow ,but they don't
Maybe I have missed something , just a little odd on one hand reading the destruction of the human race along side a million dollar drug bust
I still enjoyed it Mr Ken

Another great read
Gripping and suspenseful- a great read although too close to the truth at times- heaven forbid it will ever come true ! Learnt so much about the world reading this - when cross referencing the facts were very accurate - fillet certainly does his research well - enjoying many of his books - now fir the next one -
