Wow! Brilliant!
This story by Claudia Burgoa was in my opinion absolutely brilliant.
It dealt with some pretty hard topics, was so deep but at the same time so beautiful that I could not stop listening.
The storyline was amazing and the characters were at times flawed but both trying to make something of their imperfect lives.
The breakdowns of songs that they chose regularly for their playlists was brilliant.
I loved hearing songs that I had not heard of for a long time and their take on them.
I even found myself singing some of those songs they had mentioned in my normal daily routine.
This was a slow burn, graphic story of a love so deep that had been ruined, it was steamy at times, dealt with some difficult subjects but was also so raw and beautiful others.
Loved Roderick and Kit and listening to them via audiobook which was narrated by Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon was such a treat.
They were perfect for the role and did a superb job of making this story come alive.
Loved it all - the story and the narration.
