Hooked and then lost me
I was so hooked by this book, but then it felt like a rush to the finish line. It was great until it ramped up and felt too quick. It had all of the elements you’d expect from this kind of trope, which was kind of corny, but expected. I loved that the femme was kind of crass and real, but it always drives me crazy in these stories that the man completely stalk her, yet it is okay because they’re hot. This behavior is not okay. Not even a book. Author you can do better, this is the 21st century and the women’s lib movement is way ahead of this. Despite this I’d still give it 4 stars.
Very worth reading.
Hilarious. Clever. Laugh out loud funny. Wonderful people. Great story. Do yourself a favour and enjoy this book.
Cringey and boring
Ever wanted to write a basic, cliche and cringey story? This is what you’d come up with. It’s so painful to read. Lacks depth, in story and character. First time in my life, I’ve stopped reading a book.
