Odysseus and the Eye of Odin

Gullveig the Gold-Witch just stole the Golden Apples that keep Odin, Thor, and the other Norse gods immortal. But the Aesir are too stoned to care. They're getting their jollies chasing after Fafnir, the poison-spouting dragon. Meanwhile Gullveig, the evil Loki, and the Dark Elves (no, not the unisex and flower-power kind) plot to bring on Ragnarok. Their idea of fun.

Needing help now that Thor's gone all giggly, Odin drags Odysseus, along with his female captors and their balloon ship, across the Rainbow Bridge. After hanging the reluctant Greek upside down from Yggdrasil to help him get his mind right, Odin sets him and the ship's hard-nosed captain Taranga after the evil-doers.
