Publisher Description
Off The Shoulder is a poem I wrote looking at the place of things in the universe, of being tired and pressured and of getting refreshed. A simple drive by the beach at dusk, and then a brief stroll, explores the nature of reality and reboots the soul!
The poem originally was written in paired lines, fourteen pairs total, but pacing and rhythm made me break it into a different structure altogether.
The structure of this poem provides for five chapter breaks. Each has had its lines split-apart in order to preserve the intent (the pacing) of each line, and thus each line may be given its own page; there may be instances, however, where managing the evolution of the poem in your mind, some lines have been split into multiple pages, or, multiple lines of a stanza remain on the same page (making it so a page is not necessarily equal to the count of lines of a stanza).
