Home again, and reunited with my beloved hound Nims, I want to believe life will go back to normal. Well, normal for a vampire living in Inverness, dating a vampire and a shifter, and rescuing dogs when she isn't writing or collecting things for the witches.

My hope is short lived as powers I shouldn't have begin to claw their way out of me with explosive results. I need to find out where these powers came from and the only way to do that is to risk everything by going back to where it all began. My parents. Their connections to the church that still hunts me to try and perform an exorcism means that going anywhere near them risks capture and death for me.

Staying away means I risk Nims life, and the lives of those of everyone around me. Including Callum. I thought I hated him for turning me and never coming back to explain. Now, it has the chance to be something different. If I don't kill him with my out of control powers first.
