Once upon a broken heart
I am not sure what I was expecting with this book, but this wasn’t it. I think I was expecting it to be a bit more romance, but it really wasn’t.
There were lots of twists and turns that had you trying to guess what was going to happen next, and I never could… it also left me on a cliffhanger!! I was watching the pages dwindle and was wondering how they were going to resolve everything before the end and I guess they didn’t need to.
I enjoyed it anyway and will be picking up the next book to see what happened. Though it looks like Apple Books don’t have it…
Single POV, no spice, 14+ there was quite a bit of murder… haha
Light hearted, fun fairytale
Sometimes a bit simplistic or childlike in its fairytale inspired narrative style, but fun all the same. And surprisingly steamy in some moments! I’ve heard the sequel is great so I will be diving back in.
