Asia McDevitt fled her hometown and made a new life for herself in Boston. She returned home to the Grove monthly to visit her mother. On each of those visits, she'd made sure her path and her ex-boyfriend had never crossed.

Now, eighteen years later, shop owner Asia McDevitt and Deputy Police Chief Nate Healy reunite. But again, their happy reunion may not last. Someone wants Asia dead and again it's left to Nate to make sure the love he and Asia share will not come to an end once and for all.
