One Snowy Night is a fun, festive holiday novella in New York Times bestselling author Jill Shalvis's Heartbreaker Bay series, featuring her trademark gift for humour, warmth and romance. Perfect for fans of Jill Mansell, Debbie Macomber, Nora Roberts and Marie Force.
When Sean O'Riley shows up at the Hartford Bed & Breakfast for his older brother's bachelor weekend, he's planning to get through this weekend as well as he can and fulfill his duties as best man. What he's not expecting is to come face to face with the woman he lost his virginity to a decade ago - a woman he's never really forgotten.
The last time Lotti Hartford saw Sean, she told him she loved him while he said nothing. Now, ten years later, she's just looking for a good time. For once, she wants to be wild and free, and when she sees how good Sean grew up, she thinks he might actually be the perfect candidate.
As the weekend continues, Sean realizes that after a lifetime of being the hook-up king, he's ready to find happily-ever-after with Lotti. But is she ready to open her heart once again? As Christmas sweeps through the little B&B, love and magic are in the air.

A quick Christmas themed read
4 star review of One Snowy Night (Heartbreaker Bay #2.5) by Jill Shalvis
What's not to love? It's the most magical time of the year and also happens to be my most favourite holiday. I love any story that is centred on Christmas; it’s a time for family and friends to get together.
After being away from home for years, Rory Andrews is determined to make it home for Christmas by any means necessary, even if it means accepting a ride from the oh so gorgeous Max Stranton and his loveable dog Carl.
Rory and Max have a history and despite their very best attempts at denying the chemistry between them, it is obviously still there. I would say if you haven’t read the other books in the Heartbreaker Bay series I would do so prior to reading One Snowy Night.
I have to say I absolutely loved Carl and wanted to adopt him. One Snowy Night is filled with angst, humour and endearingly tender moments. This book was extremely well written and I was drawn in from the beginning although I felt that the ending was a tad rushed.
The only downside to me is that they this was not a particularly long book and I was so sad when it ended.
