Our Changing Population

Despite population growth rates declining worldwide, by the year 2050, the worldís population is predicted to increase from seven billion to nine billion people. This book looks at current population trends across the globe and in the UK. It also looks at issues such as life expectancy, the impact of migration on the UK population and whether we have enough space for our increasing number of residents. Global issues include which countries will see the most population growth, what future cities will look like and whether the Earth can sustain nine billion people.
