This Multi-Touch book is Part 2 of a two part series of books called ‘Our Home’. It has been created for students and teachers as an online interactive learning resource about the Sutherland Shire. 

 

The book includes interviews with Aboriginal elders, the council and students, stunning images, interactive activities and maps, infographics and detailed text. 


It explores a huge range of topics: the history of Captain Cook’s landing, our National Heritage, uses of Indigenous plants, housing and population issues, waste and recycling, why trees are so important, energy and sustainability. As well as the importance of connecting with our environment and understanding a sense of place.
