They find Evan in 1942 London, ill and not quite sure what's happened. He remembers only one thing with crystal clarity -- the whereabouts of an artifact Hitler believes can win the war. That's information every Nazi spy in the country would kill to know.
As if saving Evan and surviving war-torn England weren't enough, the outcome of the war hinges on Simon and Elizabeth finding Evan's artifact before the Nazis do. But time is running out: for them, for London, for the world.

A wondrous concept
A lovely book filled with adventure and romance. Well researched and fleshed out characters. Great fun.

Out of Time series review
This series is a great reading experience. I love the combination of Sci Fi/Time travel and the historical locations. The time periods and locations ring true and Monique must do heaps of research to get these accurate. Elizabeth, Simon and Jack encounter a variety of situations and face enemies of all sorts - normal and supernatural - in their efforts to save lives and prevent future disasters. Time paradoxes are dealt with convincingly. So far I have read 5 novels, each in a different time, four set in America and one in England. Although the characters are a bit bigger than life this allows for a lot of cheeky interactions and plenty of humor. Definitely highly recommended. Can't wait to read further books in the series.
