Julian was no stranger to issues with the law. He lived life to the fullest along side of his best friend. However, when one night of mischief became a six-year sentence, Julian’s life was thrown upside down. He lost all connection to people and to the world he’d once known while incarcerated. After his sentence, Julian found himself battling stigma and services to step back into independence. It wasn’t until he was offered a role in a youth half-way program for young offenders when his path begun to change.
Through trying to understand his own trauma, identify and path, Julian now supports young people through their next steps. He works along side of them as their lives move through torment and change as they also try to understand their place in this world. Julian’s only goal is to survive them, his darkness, the new world and connections around him. His new world is unpredictable causing Julian to question whether he risked everything to save himself or those around him.
