This work was a mainstay of our touring repertoire for years. The ubiquitous and haunting two measure ostinato motif, inspires, enchants, and delights in all its possibilities. The use of modal duplicity makes this unique piece a wonder in its place in the history of western music and has been a blueprint for imaginative interpreters in countless media.
