ISLAMABAD -- The Parliamentarians from Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and address the challenges including terrorism and militancy through increased interaction between the members of parliaments. The agreement reached as the Parliamentarians from Pakistan joined their Afghan counterparts in Kabul for a two-day (May 29-30) dialogue that focused on counter-terrorism strategies for the two countries, facilitated by PILDAT, according to a message received here from Kabul on Monday. Pakistani delegation included Faisal Karim Kundi, Deputy Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan, Senator Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali, Deputy Chairman Senate of Pakistan, Senator Abdul Ghaffar Qureshi Senator Fauzia Fakhar-uz-Zaman, Senator Najma Hameed, Senator Mrs. Saeeda Iqbal, Senator Afrasiab Khattak, Senator Dr. Abdul Malik, Dr. Muhammad Ayub Shaikh, Nadeem Afzal Gondal, Pervaiz Khan, Advocate, Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan Abbasi, Humayun Saifullah Khan, Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari, Ahmed Bilal Mehboob, Executive Director PILDAT, Ms. Aasiya Riaz, Joint Director PILDAT, Hummel Dostain and Mamoon Bilal, Project Managers of PILDAT.
