This action for the recovery of taxes paid under protest for the tax year 1946-1947 likewise involves the construction of the recently enacted welfare exemption law (Cal. Const., art. XIII, § 1c; Rev. & Tax. Code, § 214), in relation to hospital property. Accordingly it was consolidated for hearing with six other hospital cases as noticed in an opinion this day filed, Cedars of Lebanon Hospital v. County of Los Angeles, L. A. No. 20610, ante, p. 729 [221 P.2d 31].
