Publisher Description
This is an action for damages resulting from the destruction of the plaintiffs lakeshore house on October 16, 1953, by a fire alleged to have been started by the defendant on the defendants property, which adjoined that of the plaintiff. In the first trial of the action the jury awarded plaintiff a verdict, but the trial court granted defendants motion for a new trial. At the second trial, the court directed a verdict for defendant after the plaintiff had presented his evidence. Plaintiff caused a judgment of dismissal to be entered and appeals therefrom.
