Customer Reviews
Great
Love the short bio's, perfect to get just enough info to have good general knowledge. If you want in depth biographies of each - buy hundreds of books and waste hundreds of hours..
Passable time waster
This book provides short bios on many influential people, but is lacking in historical accuracy. Many chapters have dates/names wrong. Also, some chapters jump between periods in a person's life and make it difficult to read. The book's editor did not do a very good job.
Rubbish
Osama bin laden gets a mention but not Mohamed
That just about sums up this very shallow work
Adequate for an 8th grade social studies essay
