Pirate Eye

The Curse of the Omega Ham

Publisher Description

A pirate lives his life by the code of the sea, and if he has lived a good life, he will end his days by returning to that sea a richer man in heart, mind and spirit. My seafaring days had long since passed, and I knew that I needed to find a port and begin anew.

When I finally chose to weigh anchor and set up shop in a dingy, dilapidated block on the lower east side, I looked forward to the potential of a modestly quiet life. Private investigation had been something I had shown a knack for from a very early age, so it seemed the most practical direction that I should take. I was damn good at it too! My intuition and investigatory senses would often guide me towards clues that other wannabe gumshoes would overlook.

It wasn’t long after starting the organization that business was booming! Client appointments flooded my calendar, I was a partner with one of my best friends, and my office was often bustling with activity. For a time it seemed as though I had found my calling, my passion, and my career.

Then, on a seemingly normal day back in ’86, the fates decided that it was time to tear my dreams asunder, and it all went south from there. Now, the only reoccurring appointment I have penciled in is between me and the bottom of a bottle of rum. So, if you’re in town, and your todo list includes meeting a washed up Pirate Eye (who went from something to nothing faster than you could sail around the cape), well then hello, my name is Eyepatch Jericho. It’s nice to meet you!
