Playing with Fire

We've been best friends our entire lives. I'd been in love with him almost half that time. Never once did he give me a sign that he saw me as something more, until he found out I'd never been able to "relax" with another man before.

After that, he makes it his mission to be the one to help me. To show me I wasn't the problem. We both agree to the rules - one night only. But when it becomes apparent he wants to continue our agreement, I shut him down. There's no way I can be in a fling with this man and not have my heart absolutely broken by the time it was over.
