Sara sits at home wrapping Christmas gifts alone on Christmas Eve while her kids lie asleep and her husband is off having another affair. Her quiet night takes a surreal turn when an unexpected visit from a tall, muscular man named Nick, claiming to be Santa Claus, emerges from her fireplace, offering a present.
