Publisher Description

The natural forces of the world have reclaimed the land after the human race did its best to destroy themselves and the planet, with devastating wars. The planet can now once again provide everything humankind needs to survive. Throughout a much changed world small pockets of survivors have slowly started to repopulate the much-changed natural landscape. Even though the things people rely on today such as electricity, communications and any form of fossil fuels have long since ceased to exist. The problem now is, some of mans worst traits have survived and some still crave power over others. There are roving bands of raiders armed not with guns or explosives but with medieval weaponry. The wars removed any complex method of killing, pushing the world back to the dawn of warfare, to when the sward and warriors were the elite weapons and forces of mankinds domain.
This is the story of one person who started to fight back against the oppression of his people and took the fight to the raiders in a language only they and he understood. He sets out to do this alone though as the story unfolds he finds things do not work out that way. Throughout his search for the tools and support he would need to go after the men who destroyed his life. He encounters other like-minded warriors as eager as he to exact some revenge on the raiders and put an end to the human slave trade that seems to be common and accepted practice throughout the land in which they live.
For Primus the young student warrior who started this quest beaten and almost broken, this part of his journey marked his passage from young man, a student in training to a man, a lover and then a warrior honoured by his people with the title of master. This is an honour he had been selected for and tutored to attain from an early age but no where was it planned for his road to this honour to take the route it did.
