The first time I meet Madison Shore, I'm greeted by her knickers. She's upside down and trying to untangle herself from my chair at a wedding.
I get to see a whole lot more of her later that night.
The second time I meet Madison Shore is in my London office. Turns out she's a journalist writing an article about me.
To keep control of my company, I need to convince people I'm more serious about business than my playboy reputation suggests. Madison holds my future in her hands.
Now I just need to convince the woman I took to bed on Saturday night that I'm not the player everyone thinks I am.
Private Player is stand-alone novel.
"Pure Louise Bay deliciousness. Madison and Nathan were explosive. I loved the sensuality shining on every page. Fast-paced, sexy and unputdownable. A must read!" Layla Hagen
"A smart and sexy summer escape you need. Nathan and Madison crackle with chemistry and conviction, and Bay delivers a romance guaranteed to make a hot summer even hotter!" Sierra Simone - USA Today bestselling author of Priest and Misadventures of a Curvy Girl
Not as good as previous books but a pleasant read.
A rather good read!
Private Player is Nathan Cove’s story and you will be sent on one rocky journey. Its also a veritable slow burn. There are secrets, great family bonds and good banter as well. When Madison is tasked with an opportunity as a journalist to shadow Nathan for an article, needless to say neither of them knows what will eventuate. I genuinely liked both of these characters and felt they just got each other. Nathans family were an absolute hoot, genuinely warm, happy people. However when certain things get out in the media, will the trust be broken and how will they react to things? A rather good read! Im definitely looking forward to reading more.
Meeting at a mutual friends’ wedding, sparks fly between Madison Shore and Nathan Cove and in fact their meet cute was hysterical. When I first read the blurb for this book it had me laughing out loud and I knew I had to read it. To be honest it took me a little while to warm up to these characters but once I did, it was full speed ahead.
After a passionate one night stand they part ways not expecting to meet again. Both are horrified when they learn that Madison has been charged with writing an article on the super successful Nathan. He needs to clean up his reputation and his board of directors are insisting that he allow her to shadow him at his meetings both professionally and personally.
As they get to know one another they both realize there is more to one another than they first thought. Can they resist the attraction that seems to be getting harder to ignore. One of my favourite parts of this story was the relationship that Nathan has with his family. It was heart warming and the camaraderie and witty banter between Nathan and his brothers was humorous.
