Quang Binh

The series ‘Vietnam Strong & Flexible’ consist of nine volumes composing a travelogue from the northern mountains to the Mekong delta. Together the books offer plenty of historical notes and eye-opening facts leading to strong opinions and observations on culture, religion, economy, politics and social issues.

The fifth volume concentrates on the narrow strip of land, which was the most southern part of North Vietnam, just north of the historic DMZ. The text and the 97 original pictures offer the reader a holistic view of the way of life in this historic border area. The beautiful scenery and the happy demeanor of the local people form the background.
