Emotional roller coaster

Sad. Happy. Shocking. Definitely one of Cassandra Clare’s best books so far.

Enjoyed it... But not as much as I thought I would

I have been a massive fan of Cassie Clare's shadowhunter hunter books from the very beginning (especially the mortal instruments series) And I always look forward to a new edition to this ever expanding series and as much as I enjoyed Queen of air and darkness I found myself wondering if the story was told from just a few key Characters POV (like the TMI series) would I have enjoyed it more? I just felt with so many characters POV's jammed into each chapter it felt like I was unable to really get lost in the story of this final book for this series.... As much as I think Cassandra Clare is an amazing author I thought this way of telling the story ruined the overall experience for me sadly ☹️ Not that I don't look forward to reading the next instalments of the shadowhunter world 👍❤️ So yes only 4 stars for this book from me

Perfect finale

A perfect, epic finale to the series. Loved it until the end and feeling a little lost now I’ve finished it. I wonder if there might eventually be a follow up to this series, I felt as though there was room left for one, but that doesn’t effect the satisfactory ending of the story and series.
