Qweerk and the Feral Fox

Qweerk the frog and his native animal friends were very upset about the Feral Fox that had moved in. The animals decide to have a meeting with Man to see if they can help them. Arguments start but you’ll have to read the book to see how they sort it out. Noongar language has been incorporated into this book.


BACKGROUND: In 2014, the Feral Animals Enviro-Stories program provided kids from five schools around Australia with the opportunity to write and illustrate stories about feral animals and their impacts on both biodiversity and agriculture. Schools were supported by local Natural Resource Management organisations to help them learn about their local feral animal. This project has resulted in five books published, printed and distributed as well as interactive books developed.
