Publisher Description
From Australia's favourite storyteller with new novel The Night Tide out now.
Rain Music is inspired by Di Morrissey's adventures in Far North Queensland - its characters, its forgotten history, its modern dilemmas.
Brother and sister Ned and Bella Chisholm are struggling with a family tragedy that has set them on opposite paths. After taking off to pursue his musical dreams in Far North Queensland, Ned disappears.
When Bella goes in search of him, she finds herself in remote Cooktown, the isolated, little-known gem of the far north of Australia, and a place where both Ned and Bella's lives will be dramatically changed forever.
One story through two sets of eyes.
PRAISE FOR RAIN:
"Rain Music is utterly compelling." West Australian
"Morrissey's beautifully crafted story celebrates history and nature." Australian Women's Weekly
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
It’s always a pleasure to be taken on a journey to an author’s happy place. Di Morrissey clearly loves Cooktown, “the isolated, little-known gem of the far north of Australia” and the setting of Rain Music. We loved settling into this heartfelt story about a brother and sister who embark on parallel journeys to find fulfilment and properly grieve their father’s passing. Morrissey’s novel inspires both wanderlust and an appreciation for family.

Rain music by Di Morrisey
Love all of Di Morrisey books. Absolutely enjoyed this book BUT it left a lot of characters up and n the air. My hope is that their will be a continuation of the great storylines.
Please keep writing Di. So good reading about our country.
